Soudal Silirub N Foil is a high-quality low modulus neutral, oxime cure silicone sealant – which provides excellent adhesion and remains permanently elastic, with high movement capability.
Foil packs are physically a similar size to traditional cartridges yet contain approximately 35% more product.
Once consumed, the volume of waste is only circa. 5%, compared to traditional cartridges, reducing both the cost of waste disposal and plastic pollution.
Silirub N silicone is recommended for glazing, general construction, and industrial sealing.
Typical applications include perimeter sealing of window and door frames, including PVCu, roofline systems, and sealing expansion joints in brickwork.
It can also be used on many construction materials such as glass, plastics, fibre-cement, polycarbonate, metals, HVAC ducting, pipework, drainage joints, wood, slate and masonry.
Silirub N can be used in direct contact with all types of glass, excluding self-cleaning types.
